Catherine Cunningham is an artist and an Architect and has been a teacher and lecturer in both disciplines for 45 years with students from kindergarten to University level.  She holds graduate degrees in both Fine Arts and Architecture from CUNY and USC and has studied at the Art Students League of New York.


Her workshop participation includes those with Dan Greene, Richard Pionk, Richard McKinley, Albert Handell, Sally Strand and ongoing first Saturdays with Bert Collins.


Catherine draws and paints faces, places, scenes and dreams and uses the pencil, the brush, the pastel stick in a search for knowledge and an understanding of her subject.


Catherine is currently a member of:

The Pastel Society of the South Coast

The PVAC Pacific Artists Group

The Pastel Society of the West Coast

Signature member of the Pastel Society of the Gold Coast


She is a Studio Artist at Destination:Art where she paints, shows and teaches.

The Studios and Gallery are open to the public Thursday thru Saturday 11 am to 5 pm, and Sunday noon to 4 pm.
