Born on the East Coast, Judy A. Klement has made California her home for 25 years. A former Creative Art Director and award winning artist, Judy has a keen eye for detail and explaining techniques.
A VACE Art Instructor for the last 11 years, Klement has annual art exhibits to showcase new creations of hers and her students,(several have become professionals).
While Judy works in all mediums, Pastel is her favorite. She loves the immediacy and vibrancy of soft pastels as her 'Realistic-Impressionistic' creations take form. Nature and People are her chosen subjects. Klement aims to capture their
essence - a moment in time
preserved as art.
Her Oil "Guiding Lighthouse" is in the Lang Ranch Elementary School collection. A pastel comp has been sold.
Klement custom art, portraits and murals grace many fine homes and corporations across the nation and abroad.
"28 Men in an Irish Pub" appears in Ireland and Ventura with 36 Giclee prints for friends and relatives.
"Statue at Battery Park" is in the permanent art collection of the U.S. Coast Guard under Judith Klement a Coast Guard Artist while back East.
Happily residing in her Santa Paula cottage with white picket fence and rose gardens, Klement is available for demonstrations and commissions.
She invites you to view her website: www.judyklement.com to see the scope of her work. Klement guarantees satisfaction with all custom work.
