Art has always been a part of my life.  At age seven, my grandfather, an interior designer, gave me a paint-by-number set and some “Walter Foster Learn to Draw” books and that was the beginning of my love affair with painting.  I have painted, drawn and created throughout my life and have taken art classes at the Moore College of Art in Philadelphia, The New School in Manhattan, Santa Monica College in Los Angeles and various workshops around the country.

After 15 years of painting and successfully selling still lifes in oils, I needed something new to spark my creativity.   I was then introduced to landscapes in pastels and found a new passion.  The Gold Coast area I live in is filled with inspirational artists who have helped me with my new addiction.   I am extremely grateful to all of them.

I am often asked to give my personal message about art, and I would like to use this opportunity to encourage you to support your local artists and buy original art.  The cost in money for an original piece can’t compare to the individual statement you make, and the message you send to artists to continue to create.
