Marsha was born in a small fishing village in Nova Scotia and now lives in the Ojai Valley of California. Her passion and expression for art have their roots in these two diverse landscapes of her life.

She works as a registered nurse in Southern California, and takes every opportunity to paint and travel, and work in her garden.

Marsha has received many awards and accolades for her pastel paintings. Her work can be seen in private collections in the U.S. and Canada.

Marsha is currently an associate member of Women Artists of the West and a member of the Ventura County Pastel Artists, as well as the Pastel Society of the Gold Coast.

‘‘My passion is painting - if I could paint every moment, I would love it - I enjoy pastels because of the freedom this medium gives me and the detail and intense colors I can achieve."
