"Fall Fell With A Squash"
"Linda's Cherry. Linda Means Beautiful."
Veronica Lambert developed multiple series of richly textured etchings through unique printmaking techniques that are both illustrative and playful. She then created a body of narrative, symbolic work that explores expression of experience and imagery with color pencil on paper. The work is distinctive in its content and for its bold color and wry humor.
Currently, Lambert is captivated by the human face and by the symbolism found within still life painting and mixed media/collage. Her work continues to capture celebrations of life experience while telling an alluring visual story through which the viewer can connect.
Lambert left England for the USA in 1971, received a BFA in Printmaking from the University of Alabama in Huntsville and earned an MFA from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1981. Lambert has exhibited in a number of juried shows and invitational exhibitions and won several awards. She is a member of the California Art Club, Pastel Society of the Gold Coast and Santa Barbara Visual Arts.
